BARNABY JOYCE ANNOUNCES $1.5 MILLION IN FUNDING FOR HEADSPACE

Barnaby Joyce has announced $1.5-million in funding, to help Headspace combat mental health issues in the North West.

The Member for New England says the funding is NOT an election promise – it will be delivered over a four-year period.

Headspace psychologist Andrew Ticehurst says every dollar will go towards saving lives.

“It’s help in several ways, you know, obviously providing a vital and life-saving service, it can help meet the demand of the community, it can help start the conversation on mental health and the stigma surrounding that.”
