CALLAGHAN KNOCKED OUT BY GILMORE IN TOUR DEBUT

In surfing, Macy Callaghan’s Championship Tour debut hasn’t gone to plan on the Gold Coast.

The Central Coast rookie’s been eliminated in round three by seven-time World Champ Steph Gilmore.

While it was a mixed bag for the men: Adrian Buchan also ousted.

Fellow Avoca product, Wade Carmichael remains the last Coastie standing, managing an impressive first wave score of 8.17.
