DISQUALIFIED DRIVER FOUND WITH TASER, NUMBER PLATES

A disqualified driver has been charged with 15 offences including Breach of Bail after he was detected by police in Budgewoi last night.
Police were patrolling Natuna Road when a man driving a Holden Commodore stopped and tried to flee on foot.
They discovered the 38-year-old was disqualified from driving until 2038 before searching his vehicle.
Officers allegedly uncovered several stolen number plates and a taser.
The Buff Point man was refused bail to appear in Wyong Local Court on April 1.
