RURAL FIRE SERVICE HOLDS COMMUNITY MEETING IN TINGHA TO ASSESS FEEDBACK

Breakdowns in communication have been cited as the biggest issue for Tingha residents, in the wake of the 23-thousand hectare blaze that ripped through the small town last month.
Some residents were left unaware of how to access services as fire approached their properties during the emergency.
The New South Wales RFS hosted a community meeting in Tingha last night, as it continues to reassess how it handles disasters.
