DONATED FURNITURE SET ALIGHT OUTSIDE TAREE SALVOS

A rapid response from firefighters has saved a Taree Salvation Army store, from being destroyed.
Crews arrived at around 1 o’clock this morning to find a pile of donated furniture, left on the footpath outside the premises, on fire.
The flames destroyed several windows, and caused minor damage inside the store.
The blaze was the third rubbish fire in Taree this week, and is being treated as suspicious.
