Tamworth trainer Cody Morgan has narrowly missed-out on qualifying a second runner for the Country Championships final at Randwick.
He lined-up ‘Moobi’ yesterday in the Muswellbrook Wild Card – the six-year-old gelding coming from the rear of the field to finish third, behind winner Noble Boy and Safe Landing.
The top two placegetters yesterday completing the final field of 14.
Morgan will now line-up ‘Unbiased’ in the Country Championships final on April 6.
