WAR ON CYCLISTS? NEWCASTLE MP SAYS MORE CYCLEWAYS NEEDED IN CITY

The state government has been criticised for the lack of new cycleways in the revitalisation of Newcastle’s CBD.

Labor has pledged $5-million to double Newcastle Council’s cycleways budget.

Member for Newcastle Tim Crakanthorp wants to connect the city’s west and east, as well as create a cycleway from Merewether to the CBD… and a new one at Hamilton North.
