The Greens were at Sawtell on Monday maintaining their commitment to the natural environment.
A major plank of their platform centres on the creation of The Great Koala National Park on the north coast.
“We won’t be locking up this park we will be opening this park up to a range of eco adventure tourism types of adventure such as mountain biking, hiking, dirt biking and four-wheel-drives.”
The Greens say they also want to spend $4-billion on a range of forest and wildlife preservation projects.
