The pilot of a light plane has managed to walk away from a crash in the Hunter Valley.
Emergency services remain at the scene on Wine Country Drive at Pokolbin, after the light aircraft came down just after 3.30pm.
Paramedics assessed the pilot, who’s now been taken to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital for observation.
