After weeks of competition around the Hunter, Surfest is back at Merewether for the next two weeks.
Saturday was the first day of the Wandiyali Indigenous Classic, and it was a perfect morning down on the beach.
Russ Moloney was a stand-out – he’ll be going for his 12th title tomorrow.
Surfest’s main events begin on March 11.
