RENEWABLES FACILITY TURNED DOWN

Plans for a large scale solar facility in Tamworth, have been scrapped – council voting down the proposal at last night’s meeting.

The organisation says building its own solar farm was not financially viable, but it remains committed to reducing its carbon footprint.
