GREENS PLEDGE NEW POWER RETAILER IF ELECTED IN STATE ELECTION

Meanwhile, the New South Wales Greens are promising to lower power prices across the state, if elected on March 23.

Greens MLC David Shoebridge today announced the party would form a publicly-owned energy company, to deliver 100 per cent renewable electricity.

“We’re announcing today a new public energy retailer called Power NSW that’ll sell people power significantly cheaper than it comes from corporations at the moment… But it will also build a new renewable energy hub here on the Northern Tablelands.”
