DRONE REBATE INTRODUCED TO ASSIST IN FARM SAFETY

More farmers will soon be able to buy themselves drones – Minister for Better Regulation Matt Kean introducing a drone rebate, as part of a $2.8 million dollar scheme aimed at improving farm safety.

Eligble producers can apply for a $500 subsidy, using the SafeWork website.

Some landowners are already using drones to check fences and dams, as well as for mustering.
