STAFF MEMBER’S ARM CAUGHT IN A STRAPPING MACHINE IN WINGHAM

A Wingham Beef Exports staff member was rushed to hospital yesterday following an accident at the abattoir.

In a twist of fate emergency crews were responding to a fire alarm at the property when a woman’s arm became stuck in a strapping machine.

Crews managed to free the employee who was then taken to Manning Base Hospital.
