‘FALIURE OF MANAGMENT’ LEADS TO COUNCIL BUDGET BLOWOUT

A senior Lismore City Council manager has resigned after a black hole in council’s budget was revealed, equating to a deficit of more than $6-million.

Despite it being the largest budget deficit recorded, council says rates won’t be hiked in the near future.
