Local chefs showed off their skills on the first day of the Newcastle Home Show.
James Hill from The Premier Hotel was the first to share culinary treats with showgoers, one of three cooking demonstrations taking place over the weekend.
There’s also plenty for DIY buffs, home decorators and those after a bit of R and R.
The show is expected to draw in more than 10,000 people over the weekend.
