TWO CHARGED AFTER ALLEGED PURSUIT THROUGH COFFS HARBOUR

Police have charged two people over an alleged police pursuit in a stolen vehicle through Coffs Harbour.
Just before 4pm on Wednesday, officers were patrolling on the Pacific Highway, when they spotted a Hyundai i30 allegedly driving in a dangerous manner.
A police pursuit was initiated but terminated shortly after due to safety concerns.
The vehicle later crashed into a kerb and hit a Subaru Forester, no one was injured.
A 32-year-old woman was arrested at the scene, while a 25-year-old man was arrested after a short foot pursuit.
During the arrests, a male Senior Constable suffered minor injuries.
Officers seized a white substance, believed to be methylamphetamine, which will undergo forensic testing.
Police say the car had been stolen from Burleigh Waters in Queensland, and the number plates were stolen from a car in the Harrington area in February.
Both the man and woman were charged with several offences.
He was refused bail to face Coffs Harbour Local Court later today, while the woman was granted strict conditional bail to appear at court on March 18.
