Motorists using the Pacific Highway north of Coffs Harbour can expect delays with several major road upgrades about to get underway.
From Monday, the $700 million Sapphire to Woolgoolga upgrade begins on 26 kilometres of dual-cariageways.
New speed limits will be in place at various locations.
There will also be temporary lane closures while bridge work and the removal of power lines is carried out.
