The search for two backpackers missing from Port Macquarie’s Shelly Beach continued today.
Resources have been dramatically scaled back, with local emergency crews searching areas closer to Bonny Hills and Laurieton.
20-year-old Englishman Hugo Palmer and his travelling buddy, 21-year-old French national Erwan Ferrieux haven’t been since Sunday.
Police say given the timeframe, chances of finding the two men alive are slim.
