‘BRIDGING’ THE GAP WITH VOTERS

The New South Wales government is promising to fix ageing timber bridges if it retains power at the March state election, including some in the Northern Rivers.
The Liberals are going toe-to-toe with Labor in the region, pledging half a billion dollars in total.
“There are 300 listed urgent priority cases on the mid-north and north coast and we will be turning our attention to those bridges if we win on March 23.”
Councils will be asked to nominate bridges to be included in the spend.
