A man’s been charged, following two violent home invasions at Windale overnight.
The 29-year-old is accused of forcing his way into a home on Boree Avenue just before midnight, armed with a knife, and assaulting the 45-year-old male occupant.
Police allege the victim was then forced to drive to a nearby home on Willandra Crescent, where his alleged attacker assaulted another man.
The 29-year-old was later arrested charged with a number of offences.
He’s facing Newcastle Local Court today.
