After years of waiting, an overhaul of Stockton’s boat harbour was finally complete on Wednesday.
It includes a new boat ramp, while six broken jetties have been repaired.
“It is a great facility, and it’s a wonderful outcome for all of Stockton community and all the local fishers and the professional fishers as well.” – Tim Crakanthorp, State Member for Newcastle.
The upgrade of the 50-year-old harbour cost the state more than $4-million.
