FOUR ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR MAN INVOLVED IN HUNTER ROBBERIES
Further charges have been laid against a 28-year-old man, accused of breaking into a number of supermarkets across the Hunter, between March 2017 and April 2018.
It’s alleged the 28-year-old was part of a group, armed with sledge hammers, block splitters and crowbars, that broke into supermarkets at Tanilba Bay, Fletcher and Kurri.
The additional charges, that include three counts of aggravated break, enter and steal, were laid against the man last Friday.
Two other men, aged 20 and 28, remain before the courts in relation to the robberies.
