A woman has been charged as part of an ongoing police investigation into a hydroponic set found in Newcastle on Tuesday.
The 44-year-old was arrested at a Kotara business yesterday afternoon and will face charges relating to being knowingly involved with a criminal group in court today.
Police also conducted a search of a Newcastle West home yesterday, where a number of items were seized.
It comes after a commercial property on Steel Street in Newcastle West was searched in the early hours of Tuesday morning, where police found a large number of cannabis plants and an elaborate hydroponic set-up.
