A mystery greeted officers yesterday when they found a recently-crashed car with nobody inside north of Port Macquarie.
It appears the driver has lost control of the vehicle sometime earlier in the day, with it running off Maria River Road and sustaining serious damage.
However no sign could be found of any occupants, and it’s presumed no one suffered major injuries.
