MAN CONVICTED OF CENTRAL COAST STABBING SET TO BE RELEASED
A boy who stabbed a teenage girl to death as she walked home on the Central Coast could soon be released after serving half his sentence.
According to News Corp, the parole board is due to review the now 29-year-old’s case – 13 years into his 22-year prison term.
The sentence for the 2005 killing of Tania Burgess was one of the longest known jail terms ever handed to a juvenile in New South Wales.
