The Animal Justice Party will be represented at Tamworth’s state election in March, with local woman Emma Hall putting her hand up.
She’ll add to the growing list of candidates running for the seat, which has long been a Nationals stronghold.
Jeff Bacon will run for the Shooters Fishers and Farmers party, while Steve Mears will represent Country Labor.
Councillor Mark Rodda also recently announced he’ll be the first local independent candidate.
Sitting Nationals MP Kevin Anderson will run once again, hoping to continue his eight year reign.
