CHARGES LAID OVER ALLEGED DANGEROUS DRIVING INCIDENT

A man will face a Hunter Valley local court after a member of the public filmed a car allegedly driving dangerously on the weekend.

The incident happened on Cessnock Road at Gillieston Heights, just after 11:30am yesterday.

Police were notified, and about an hour later the Nissan Skyline GTR was stopped on Maitland Road in Cessnock.

The 39-year-old driver was arrested later charged with driving in a dangerous manner, negligent driving, overtaking to left of a vehicle, and not keeping left of the dividing line.

He will appear at Kurri Kurri Local Court in January.
