TEEN CHARGED OVER ALLEGED VANDALISM SPREE

A teenage old boy will front Ballina Childrens Court, charged over an extensive vandalism spree at Ballina High School last week.

Police will allege the 14 year old, along with two other teenage boys, smashed around 50 windows in the early hours of last Friday morning.

The incident prompted the cancellation of classes for the day and caused over $30,000 in damage.

One alleged accomplice is assisting police and will participate in youth conferencing.

Officers are still looking for a third teen.
