WOMAN ARRESTED OVER SUSPICIOUS $160,000 FIRE

An Alstonville woman has been charged with lighting a suspicious fire in Alstonville last year.
Crews were called to Main Street just after midnight on November 2, after a fire broke out in the Century 21 real estate building.
No one was injured, however the business sustained more than $160-thousand in damages.
Yesterday, officers from Richmond Police District arrested and charged a 50-year-old woman with ‘damage property by fire.’
She was granted conditional bail to appear at Ballina Local Court next month.
