MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR PLAYGROUND OPENS IN CESSNOCK

It’s taken more than two years, but Cessnock Council has finally finished work on the Bridges Hill Park playground upgrade.
The $4-million project was made possible by state and federal funding as well as money from the local Lion’s club.
The park now boasts accessible features for kids with disabilities, a bike park, barbeque facilities, and all the usual amenities.
Now one of the largest playgrounds in the region – it’s suitable for people of all ages.
