The partnership between Sport UNE and the Northern Inland Academy of Sport is set to continue for another three years, after the two organisations signed another agreement today.
“We provide facilities for the students so they have access to all of the sports facilities we have here, they also have access to our sport and exercise laboratories so they can do some of the science behind the training.”
It’s also about providing opportunities beyond sport.
“It’s important yes that we focus on their athletic abilities and how they compete and so forth but we also need to look at the opportunities for further education.”
