BAIL REFUSED AFTER DRUGS CHARGES LAID

A man has been charged after Glen Innes police seized 150 cannabis plants, as well as leaf and oils from a Diehard property on Wednesday.
The 38-year-old was charged with five drug related offences, including supply, possession and cultivate a prohibited drug.
Police allege Andrew George Pegley is involved in the sale of the drug throughout the Glen Innes community.
Pegley did not apply for bail in Armidale Local Court today, he’ll remain in custody until his next appearance on February 6.
