HUNTER MAN TO JOIN THE BEST OF THE WORLD’S BAKERS IN PARIS

A Hunter-trained baker is one of five chosen to compete in the Baking World Cup competition in France.
At just 22 years of age, John Reminis has already competed at two international baking events and is about to take on his third, representing Asia Pacific at the 2016 Baking World Cup in Paris.
He will be judged on his ability to make 100 bread products in less than one hour, including four different varieties.
Competing against him for the title of World Young Bakery Hopeful will be five international bakers representing Europe, the Americas and the African & Mediterranean regions.
They have all been given the theme of ‘Children’s Garden Party’ to prepare their menu.
Mr Reminis started his baking apprenticeship with TAFE when he was just 16 years old and spends many hours a day refining his technique.
