A man, wanted for questioning over the home invasion death of Lake Macquarie grandfather Philip Steele, remains under police guard in hospital.
The 24-year-old was arrested last night after crashing his motorcycle into an unmarked police car on Ntaba Road at Jewells.
Mr Steele died of injuries sustained during a home invasion at Whitebridge on December 17.
Two other men have already been charged in relation to Mr Steele’s alleged murder.
