The Sydney Thunder have lost to the Perth Scorchers – twice in two days in the Women’s Big Bash.

Hunter bowler Samantha Bates helping restrict the home side to 7/127 from their 20 overs.

The Thunder couldn’t quite reach the target – losing by three runs.

While in Hobart – the Hurricanes beat the Heat by 5 wickets.

The Hunter’s Corinne Hall player of the match – smashing 48 runs off 39 balls.
