WEATHER UPDATE: POLAR ROTATION MOVES INTO HIGH GEAR

A week long run of blizzard conditions building and easing are set to unfold plunging us into winter. Little to no precipitation is expected locally, just cold, windy mostly sunny days.
For the SE it is a different story as the rain turns to snow launching the 2014 ski season into the stratosphere. A half a metre of snow from the first blast and with more to follow. The system set to move through on the weekend may be stronger than this one.
