A 40-year-old woman has been rushed to hospital with a serious arm injury, after a two-car crash on the Central Coast.
The accident happened on Debenham Road at Somersby just before midday on Saturday – a Ford Falcon colliding with a Toyota Hilux.
Police say the driver of the Hilux fled the scene.
The injured woman was trapped in the wreck for around 45 minutes, before being taken to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital for treatment.
An investigation into what caused the crash is underway.
