EARLIER
A crash on the M1 west of Lake Macquarie is causing headaches for motorists this morning.
Northbound traffic is banked up more than 10 kilometres, following the accident just south of the Cessnock Road interchange.
One of two northbound lanes is closed – southbound traffic is unaffected.
No-one was seriously injured in the crash.
