IVORY SIX MINUTES OFF THE PACE AT WORLD CHAMPS

A tough day out for Hunter Mountain Biker Cameron Ivory at the World Championships in Cairns, finishing in 41st place in today’s Cross-Country.
Starting from 43rd – deep in the pack – it was always going to be hard work to move through the field, although top 30 was his goal.
He climbed two places on the opening lap, and held his position from there, finishing six minutes off Switzerland’s Nino Schurter who claimed gold.
