SEARCH CALLED OFF FOR MISSING MAN
A search has been suspended for a man swept out to sea north of Coffs Harbour earlier this week.
The 28-year-old disappeared while attempting to cross the mouth of Moonee Creek at around 6pm on Monday.
Two men, aged 35 and 45, drowned when a family of six became stuck in a strong rip.
A large-scale air, sea and land search has been conducted over the past two days.
A teenage girl, who was swept 700 metres into the ocean, was rescued by a lifeguard.
She remains in hospital in a stable condition.
