WORK STARTS AT MANNING BASE HOSPITAL EXTENSION

Today saw the first pouring of concrete for Manning Base Hospital’s new renal dialysis and oncology ward.

The multi-million dollar project is stage one of a three stage redevelopment.

It’s expected to be up and running by August next year.

Funding for the final stages is still being secured.

“Hopefully by the time stage one is finished planning for stages two and three will also be finished,” said Member for Myall Lakes, Stephen Bromhead.
