POLICE ACTIONS PUT UNDER THE MICROSCOPE AT INQUEST

The actions of police in the hours before a Hunter woman was stabbed to death by her former partner were today examined during a Coronial Inquest.

Officers were asked if the outcome would have been different if a welfare check was classified as a domestic violence incident.
