MAN CHARGED AFTER POLICE OFFICERS THREATENED WITH KNIVES
A man’s been charged after two police officers were threatened with a knife in the Hunter Valley.
Police were called to a unit on Skellatar Street, Muswellbrook after receiving a noise complaint. They will allege that he was heavily intoxicated and armed with two knives, threatening to stab them on approach.
The 44-year old man eventually dropped his weapons and was arrested.
He was taken to Muswellbrook Police Station and charged with assault of a police officer.
The man will face Muswellbrook Local Court today.
