HERITAGE PRESERVED

One of the Hunter’s pioneering homesteads has been listed on the State Heritage Register.
Dunmore House at Bolwarra Heights was built using convict labour in 1833, and has strong links to the colony’s first Presbyterian minister, John Dunmore Lang.

Lang sponsored Scottish, German and Irish settlers, to bring their religous values and trade skills to the region.

Current owners, Paris and Mitty Osborne, were presented with a heritage certificate, in recognition of their conservation efforts on the property.
