Former Bali nine drug smuggler, Renae Lawrence has been excused from appearing in a Newcastle court on several outstanding warrants, over an alleged police chase in 2005.
According to her solicitor Drew Hamilton, there’s already been “meaningful and purposeful discussions” with police.
41-year-old Lawrence was arrested two-weeks ago following her return to Newcastle, after spending 13-years in a Bali prison for drug trafficking.
Her matter was adjourned until next month.
