Tamworth basketballer Nick Kay has booked his ticket to the 2019 FIBA World Cup, following the Australian Boomers’ win over Iran in Melbourne.
Their 29-point victory helping secure their berth, after more than a year of qualifying matches.
They occupy top spot in Group F, and host Qatar later tonight in their final qualifier at home.
