THREE CHARGED OVER BRUNSWICK HEADS HEIST

Police have charged a 23-year-old bottle shop employee in Brunswick Heads after staging an armed hold up in March.

Officers searched two properties today, arresting three people, including a 29-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man.

Police say, before stealing cash, the man allegedly threaten the employee with a firearm, forcing her to drive to Cabarita.

The trio have since been charged with robbery and have been refused bail.
