A collection of heritage rail items in Newcastle is set to be moved to a new storage facility in Sydney’s west.
Transport Heritage New South Wales confirmed items from the Broadmeadow Roundhouse will move south, after the facility closed to volunteers late last year.
The state government says it’s committed to the preservation of the Boradmeadow site, which will be adapted for new uses.
