CRASH DEATH PROMPTS POLICE CRITICAL INVESTIGATION
A critical incident investigation is underway, after a 60-year-old man died in a crash in Cessnock earlier on Thursday.

Officers performed CPR on him before paramedics arrived, but he died at the scene.
Newcastle City Police District officers will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, that investigation will then be subject to an independent review and will be monitored by the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission.
